We want to introduce you to our new friends who we met through this year’s first ever Veggie Hot Dog Video Contest, the Clinkscales-Theis Family.
Michael, and his four children, Reggie, Sasha, Kara, and Nikki are a vegetarian-raised family that would be awesome no matter what, but what makes them especially unique is their disarmingly varied background.
Michael and his partner adopted their oldest, Reggie (Ruizhi) from China, their second oldest, Sasha, from Russia, and the two youngest, Nikki and Kara, from right here in Texas.
We loved Michael, his kids, and their entry so much, we decided to invite them out for Vegan Milkshakes at Toy Joy. We also brought along Deneice O’Connor and Emmet Kerr-Perkinson, the talented people behind the video contest winner, The Human Polygastric, to help document the outing.
We had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone and drinking milkshakes with this unique, beautiful family, and hope you’ll enjoy it as well.
