You may have noticed that one of our most valuable prizes for this year’s Veggie Hot Dog Eating Contest is a $450 Resolution Garden. But what exactly is a Resolution Garden?

Resolution Gardens, a project of Austin Green Art, is keeping the community healthy and boosting Austin’s green-economy with their far from ordinary veggie patches.

We’re getting tremendous support from the community and got an awesome crop of prizes for this year’s Veggie Dog Contest:

A Resolution Garden, Alamo Drafthouse gift cards, improv classes and more!

Three original toppings for your next vegan cookout: sour cherry relish with soy yogurt amd mint, fried olives with romesco sauce, and black bean-espresso chili. Recipes below!

We’ll be posting all the entries for our Veggie Dog Video Contest here – keep checking back as they come in and entries compete for the grand prize – a $100 Gift Card to Alamo Drafthouse and Austin Film Festival 2010 Passes!
